Bad Boy Summer

Emily Henry’s Happy Place meets My Big Fat Greek Wedding in this enemies-to-lovers spicy romcom about a therapist who's an expert at relationships… just maybe not her own

IT'S GOING TO BE A HOT ONE

Couple’s therapist Nella Praxitelis knows all about love – in theory. In practice? Not so much. Especially after discovering her boyfriend’s been cheating… just hours before he planned to propose.

With her life in tatters, Nella moves back in with her Greek family, only for her little sister to announce she’s getting married… in three weeks. And the best man? Mark Marino, the OG bad boy – tall, brooding, and the older brother of Nella’s late first love. Also, he kinda hates her, but it’s okay because the feeling’s mutual.

As maid of honour, Nella is forced to team up with Mark for dance lessons, formal dinners, and a chaotic stag-and-hen trip to Cyprus. But underneath the barbs, undeniable chemistry simmers, pushing Nella to confront a choice:

risk her heart again or stick to dealing with other people’s love lives.

Bad Boy Summer - a spicy escapist beach read

I consumed it in one sitting. The voice was so bright and clear, the romance was exactly my catnip. I loved every minute of it!

Praise & Reviews

Bad Boy Summer is the perfect beach read – hot, gossipy, impossible to put down but also deeply thoughtful and genuinely moving. A delicious bit of escapism, I can’t wait to read whatever Christina Pishiris writes next.

Love Songs for Sceptics

My brother’s getting married in a few weeks and asked for help picking a song for his first dance. I suggested Kiss’s ‘Love’s a Slap in the Face’.

It didn’t go down well.

LOVE ISN'T ALL YOU NEED

When she was a teenager, Zoë Frixos fell in love with Simon Baxter, her best friend and the boy next door. But his family moved to America before she could tell him how she felt and, like a scratched record, she’s never quite moved on. Now, almost twenty years later, Simon is heading back to London, newly single and as charming as ever . . .

With Simon back in town, Zoë is determined to finally pluck up the courage to tell him how she feels, but as obstacles continue to get in her way – Jess, Simon’s perfect ex-girlfriend, Nick, an obnoxious publicist determined to ruin Zoe’s career, and family pressure around her brother’s big(ish) fat(ish) Greek wedding – Zoe begins to wonder whether, after all these years, she and Simon just aren’t meant to be? What if, instead, they’re forever destined to shuffle around their feelings for each other, never quite mastering the steps. Is Zoë right to be sceptical about romance, or is it time she changed her tune?

 LUCY VINE

Do you ever feel like an author reached into your brain and pulled out the exact book you wanted, at the exact right time? This is what it felt like from the very first page of Love Songs for Skeptics. Voicy, heartfelt, hilarious, propulsive--this book is brilliant. With the ache of second chances, the chaos of family, and in the iconic backdrop of London, Love Song for Skeptics strikes the perfect notes of romance, snark, and yes, even sweetness (hold the schmaltz).
